The Let's Just Play, Shall We? Meme
Options stolen from a couple of places because Morgan liked this better than just posting a real meme.

1. Post in any of your kids you'd like to play against mine. If you have a specific request [including verses as well as kids] make it, or I will just throw at random, either way. (Fandom kids with DWs can be found here, all originals here, but don't feel restricted to that if you know others -- there's a larger list here but it needs updating, and anyone you know of not on one of those two is fair game.)
2. RNG up a number between 1 and 22, or just pick one, and throw that in the header of your comment with your character info.
3. RP times for all!
4. Slowtime forever. Or, y'know, don't, but know that it is my default setting.


1. Nice meeting you! First meetings happen. Let's explore them, shall we?
2. Costume party! You're at a costume party, both of you are wearing masks. Do you keep the anonymity or take it off and see whose company you've been enjoying?

5. Vampires, werewolves, and zombies, oh my! You're suddenly something else! Anything you can think of, I just liked the title on this one too much to change it. Vampires, werewolves, zombies, angels, demons, fae, animals, whatever you can think of. How do you take it? How does the other person take it? How do you break the news? And how do you keep (wings/fangs/fur/rotting body parts) clean anyway?
6. Apocalypse! It's the end of the world as we know it and you probably don't feel fine. How are you two getting by in this post-apocalyptic society? And how did the world end anyway?
7. Back in time! Somehow, you wound up in the past again. Do you try to correct something or just sit and wait for time to jump? Maybe it jumps to various points in your life or maybe you actually think you're back in the day. Have fun, run wild with the idea!
8. Last moments! One (or both) of you is dying. Last chance to say goodbye.
9. Recovery/Healing! One of you is taking care of the other, for whatever reason.
10. Love at first sight! You are now insanely in love with the first person you set eyes on. (Whether that goes for the first person you set your eyes on too is the question.)
11. Separation! You were forced to leave this person, maybe for their own safety, maybe for yours, maybe for something else entirely. Have you been miserable? Has it actually been kind of a blast? Are you back on purpose, or was running into them an accident? And have you brought any presents?
12. Tortured! Whether you are the torturee, the torturer, or the rescuer is up to you.
13. Ghost! Whoops, you died. And now you're a ghost. Have fun haunting the castle.
14. Celebration! Birthday, anniversary, holiday, Tuesday... whatever you have cause to celebrate, time to go to town.
15. Date night! Be it first, fifth, or hundreth. Do I really need to say more on this?
16. Genderswap/Sexswap! One of you, both of you, I don't actually care, but somebody's suddenly in a differently gendered body. Or has always been a different gender. Or has always been a different gender than their body, I don't care. Gender: Let us play with it.
17. Broken! One (or both) of you has been broken, however it happened. How do you both deal with it? (And if the other person is the cause, well, how do you celebrate it, I guess?)
18. In the snow! Look outside! It's a winter wonderland, so why not go out and play in it?
19. Bodyswap! Somehow you've changed bodies with the other person. Have fun with that.
20. Someone is sleeping in your bed! Or you are sleeping in someone's bed. Either way.
21. Mind-reading! Whether one or both of you, somebody can suddenly read minds. Now whatever you do, don't think about giraffes.
22. Whatever you want! Let's not place restrictions on ourselves, my dears. Tag whatever the hell you feel like. We will make it up as we go along. Or follow some really specific idea you have that doesn't match any of these. Or, as I said, whatever you want.

They don't really get a chance to do this. Dates aren't exactly easy when you have to keep your relationship a secret or else risk... pretty much everything. Living here, they barely get time alone together, period.

And then, sometimes they get lucky. Like now, with the rents off doing... something to boost ratings, he's sure. Shaun didn't actually pay attention to anything -- except, of course, the fact that they were going to be gone for two days. That's the part that mattered.

He might have been a little impatient, for the last few days. Just, you know, a little.

But now? Now that the car's driven away five minutes ago and they haven't come back and the two of them are alone?

There is a cousin-thing waiting near where she knows Tegan will probably be around. There is, in fact, a cousin-thing that's not really a she anymore.

Yeah, Kitty doesn't know who she pissed off either. Although she probably thwarted their evil plan by finding this absolutely hilarious and kind of interesting and immediately starting to think of stories and songs about it to put in the next
time she puts on a show.

When Tegan is seen, she will probably end up being tackled by the vaguely-familiar-looking and incredibly amused boy waiting for her.

This might not actually be a strange thing if he was not a) looking older, if only a little, in ways most people might not be able to grasp; and b) you hadn't seen him off just a couple of days ago.

There was a thing with a time elemental. A really young time elemental. Cot didn't even know there were time elementals, but apparently there are and apparently? They can send you back in time twenty years. ...They can probably send you back in time in other increments as well, but for him, it's twenty years.

So here he is, feet propped up on the furniture, flipping through a book, waiting for his sister to see if she can help him figure out how to get back again.

They have no idea what it is they've landed near when they set down, no idea who it is they're passing as walk off the ship. Serenity feels them all leave, until she's alone, just a ship waiting for her crew.

She's not a girl right now, not really, but there's a hint of her, a hint of a face in the windows, if you look closely.

Doesn't mean she doesn't notice things, though. Doesn't mean she doesn't realize the animals nearby are there, even if she has no idea what they really are, even less idea what they are to her crew.

It's probably a good thing, really, that Martin's fever decided to show itself in the last hour or so before they landed at home. A couple of hours later, and he would have been on his way home alone before he started feeling it.

At least, that's Douglas' opinion, when he loads Martin into his car after the flight. It's not a 'take patient straight to the hospital, do not pass Go, do not collect 100 dollars' level fever, but it is a 'should not be alone and should probably be kept an eye on in case hospitals become necessary' one, and he sincerely doubts Martin would have called anybody to keep an eye on him had he discovered that when he got home.

Hence why he's being brought to Douglas' home instead, so that said looking after can happen, and happen in relative comfort -- for both of them.
