Plotting Post: December 2012
The note that goes on all of these is "I'm sorry for my lapsed activity the past... more months that I am proud to admit". December is the month I am going to fix it, goddammit. :|
Abigail Eddings
Bouncy, cheery, happy-go-lucky car thief angel.
Abby's still spending most of her time either hanging around Gabe, or spending time with the people she knows, and has been since getting back from her green rift trip. The Hunt plot made her Calling go a bit haywire, so she's trying to back off from healing people for a while (unless requested by Martha, because she's opened herself to working with the Kashtta in that capacity), but we'll see if that... actually works out. It usually doesn't.
She also needs to get back into college classes now that she's back in Chicago but that's pretty off-screen, unless any other University of Chicago students are in-game and want school time shenanigans....
Future Plans: If anyone wants to give her reason to break her attempted ban on using her Calling, that would be good times. Well, for me. I've said this before, but I'd also love to see someone shady either befriend or overpower her to use her as a healer as well.
I don't really have any particular plans for her at the moment, she's just going to run around Chicago, hanging out, befriending people, getting into holiday mischief when things start happening. She might get screwed over by mistletoe again this year and end up kissing everyone who gets saddled with it.
Koschei
Rift Change: His TARDIS as a voice inside his head
Quiet antisocial Time Lord soldier. Koschei is still overall avoiding people when he isn't helping out to guard the Sanctuary and/or the Kashtta. Because he has issues and doesn't trust the guarding unless he's part of it and knows exactly what they're doing. Other than that, though, he's basically just shadowing Theta as always.
If I can't get more CR for him soon I might drop him down to a cameo come January. He's difficult to keep doing things, because he really doesn't talk to people easily.
Future Plans: He'll continue helping to guard both areas, so there can always be either trouble or friendships of some sort born out of that. I may have strange-but-not-dangerous things happen to him all through December just to annoy him and get him talking to people. Mistletoe, magic hot chocolate, possibly getting him turned into a kid if that plot turns out. So. Things.
River Tam
Rift Change: Shapeshifter (Sparrow and Albatross)
Canon: Firefly
Genius broken teenage psychic crazygirl. River was finally getting to know people, and then the Hunt plot came along. So. That's kind of fucked with her brain a bit. She'll be coming out of hiding as a sparrow soon, and then possibly breaking a little more, and after that she will go back to talking to people.
Future Plans: Discovering her Rift change, as noted above. After that, I'm not sure. Getting back to baseline, hopefully, so, reading minds, offering weird and occasionally morbid trivia, seeking out big sibling figures wherever she can find them.
Peter Burke
Rift Change: Empathy powers
Canon: White Collar
Serious, introverted ex-FBI agent who somehow still has managed to be fairly black-and-white on the law despite the Rift, a green rift, and Chicago again happening to him. I don't even know okay. That's Peter for you, although his second time in Chicago, not having El again, Neal's PTSD and Sara's death are slowly wearing away his sense of certainty in... absolutely anything, even the law.
Discovering his rift change is not going to help but that's definitely what's happening the next time I make a post. He's going to be an awkward, angry man for a little while, because Peter deals with overload of emotions by funneling them into anger. Also Sara. He is not dealing very well with losing Sara. Though not as badly as Neal, although that's part of why he's not dealing well.
Future Plans: Awkwardest empath! Also shadowing Neal and trying to fix things somehow even though it's so out of his range of things he can deal with. And occasionally shadowing Scarlett and trying to keep her safe, especially after what went down with the Hunt plot, since she's the only other person in Chicago he really knows anymore. He still needs to get officially involved with the Wanderer police, or Martha's teams, or... something, to give him a sense of purpose and a reason to talk to people.
Another who will probably have to deal with weird but harmless stuff during December, I'm just not sure what yet.
Future Characters
Riftversers:
Alan Wyatt, 19, Glays demon, studying to be a psychiatrist, just wants to find a way to use his Calling to help people and to take care of his little sister (
Cot Eddings, somewhere in his 40s or so I think?, Archangel, an adoptive Edding who does a lot of travelling, both due to Calling and just because he likes to travel, would definitely be a cameo (
Lucy March, early 20s, Angel of Knowledge whose focus is on demons, runaway, has a general instinctive fear of all angels except Children's Angels, due to her mostly-traditionalistic-AoK-and-Arch family using her Calling to help them seek out and get rid of demons, will love Chicago and its treaty more than life itself (
Lyman, 300s or so, Children's Angel, traveler, storyteller, daydreamer, overall adorable thing (needs a Riftverse journal)
Shell, late 20s or so, Guardian Angel, kind of broken but friendly boy trying to find a place to settle down and maybe even his ward (
Wanderers:
David Anthony Miller, original, power nullifier, highly trained in many forms of combat and weaponry, tragic past but pretty easy-going good guy (
James Potter II, Harry Potter, wizard/human, just because it amuses me and I've always considered it, recent Hogwarts graduate who just wants to run the Hogsmede branch of WWW and make his family proud (
Remus Lupin, Harry Potter, wizard/werewolf, would be coming in after a trip through the green rift from last time he was in Chicago (
There are considerations for others, though, so if there's anyone you'd really like to see end up in Chicago, poke me and I will think on it.
Outside the Rift
